Many educators use  Discovery Education Streaming  for their vast database of videos and teaching materials.  However, there are many other resources found in the DE system.  For example, the Spotlight on Strategies  (also known as "SOS")  initiative has laid out a wealth of instructional strategies that teachers from all curricular areas and levels can utilize. To find these effective  teacher- created resources, log into your Discovery Education Streaming account ( Keller ISD instructions ) and click on INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES :  Select a strategy group: Select a strategy: View a description, a short video, and a PDF explaining the strategy: Utilize the toolbar to add the strategy to your QUICKLIST , add the strategy to your MY CONTENT , ASSIGN the strategy, DOWNLOAD the strategy video, add to BUILDER , and/or SHARE the link via various methods:

Adobe Spark is a FREE tool that allows users to create a post (graphic), a page (webpage) and a video.  After creating an account, click the PLUS SIGN to create a new item: Post Select a template or start from scratch. The following example was created from scratch. Follow the prompts to enter a topic. If you've not noticed, students love video and photo media!  So, instead of fighting their interest in apps such as Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter, educators may consider leveraging this interest in utilizing video for eduational, more meaningful purposes.   Flipgrid  has made this idea so easy.  Teachers can push out video, audio, or text prompts and collect student response videos in an instant!  To sign up for a  flipgrid  account, click  here  and follow the prompts. If you've ever had something inappropriate appear on the side of your YouTube screen or have been distracted by the many YouTube suggested videos, this post is for you.   Watchkin  is a site that allows users to paste a YouTube link into a simple text box and create a new link that points to an ad-friendly video format.
