I have a confession to make, this is what the monitor at my desk looks like (and let's be honest, the top of my laptop too). I am a writer and I worry that I won't remember the little things I need to. However, for those of you like me, Google has a solution!  Google Tasks can help you keep track of daily tasks, organize multiple lists, and track important deadlines.  Tasks can be found in Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets and  Slides on the right, click Tasks .  Or download the app to your mobile device. Tasks synchronizes across all of your devices. 1.  Tasks opens with a Default List - but of course you can create your own. 2.  Click Add a Task to your list - it's that simple. OR right click a Task and Add a Subtask . OR drag an email from Gmail to your open Tasks window. The Task is the email subject. Clicking on the link will reopen the email. 3.  Add Details and Due Date and/or Time using the Edit pencil. 1 2 3        4. ...

What is the Google Jamboard App? The Google Jamboard App is a digital whiteboard that incorporates lots of Google 'goodness' to facilitate communication, collaboration and learning. In a Jam, you can: collaborate with others in a whiteboard environment add Docs, Sheets, Slides & PDF's from Drive add photos and images search the web draw and utilize autodrawing write and utilize handwriting recognition add sticky notes add emojis and more! There is a physical Jamboard (55-inch digital whiteboard); however, it costs a lot. 😢 The great news is the Jamboard app is free with GSuite for Education and can be used across all devices - laptops, tablets, and smartphones. 😃 Locate your Jamboard app in your Google Apps Launcher (aka the waffle).  Jamboard allows for 50 concurrent collaborators working together - so yes, you can have your entire class in one Jamboard brainstorming or gathering research!  Here is a quick video introducing you to Jamboard. Keller ISD Educational Technology ventured into something new this year - KIC Start Your Learning, a YouTube LIVE event.  These are 30 minute sessions on a particular topic offered from 4:30-5:00 pm on scheduled dates. *Keller ISD EQ Credit is offered to those who watch live, participate throughout the event and submit a form for credit verification.
