Rivet: A Free Reading App

Image
The Google team has created a new literacy app called Rivet . It is available to parents, students, and educators for free on Android and iOS. There are over 2,000 titles available in the app and many include an audio component. All are interactive enabling students to tap on words for text help. At this time, the app is only available with a Google account (NOT G Suite for Education). They state, " Rivet should be installed on a parent's device and a parent should log in with their Google account. You may set up individual profiles within Rivet for each child in your family " here . View the video below to get started: NOTE : The video shows a user skipping the log in process. After a book has been read, students receive fun feedback and provide an easy emoji-style review. See how: Resources About Rivet For Android | For iOS

OR right click a Task and Add a Subtask . OR drag an email from Gmail to your open Tasks window. The Task is the email subject. Clicking on the link will reopen the email. 3.  Add Details and Due Date and/or Time using the Edit pencil. 1 2 3        4. ...
